Thanks to CLIVUT project, Bologna Municipality donates 400 plants to citizens.
 

On the occasion of the eighteenth edition of the Rai Radio2 radio campaign "M'illumino di meno 2022", which this year includes initiatives aimed at raising public awareness to plant more trees, Friday, March 11, 2022, the Clivut LIFE Project team will deliver 400 free trees to citizens and associations who request it by March 6: an original action that lasts over time and is good for the planet!

The delivery of the plants
The delivery of the plants will be Friday, March 11, the Day of Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles, in four Neighborhood Houses of the city, by the staff of the project, in collaboration with Legambiente, that will choose the species of plant best suited to the needs of applicants.

Fifty plants will be distributed for each of these species, chosen from those that best meet today's climate change challenge: field maple, sycamore, hackberry, hornbeam, oak, southern ash, sycamore, Japanese zelkova.
The Clivut LIFE Project is developing an urban green strategy that promotes behaviours and actions to mitigate climate change in cities and optimize the contribution of urban trees to improve the ecosystem.
