Organized within the Action C3 of the Project On Friday 17 th December the LIFE CLIVUT Project Team of the University of Perugia has organized a seminar focused on “Green infrastructure and urban heat island” at the Alma Mater Bologna University. The meeting was addressed to the students of the course “Plant biodiversity and landscape ecology” and to all the students of Bologna University.
In the first part of the day, the experts of the Project talked about climate and climate changes, ecosystem and biodiversity and different kind of green infrastructures to mitigate climate change in the city.
In the afternoon, the students and the LIFE CLIVUT Team visited the Phenological Monitoring Area created within the Project in the Nicholas Green park of Bologna Municipality to understand how tree observation can help us to monitor climate changes.
